Wireless Hotspots at Melbourne Airport

It's easy to get online with the Melbourne Airport Wireless Hotspot. All you need to do is turn on the 802.11b/g wireless capability of your Laptop, PDA or Mobile Phone, connect to the " MELBOURNE AIRPORT" SSID in your wireless settings, and open up a web browser. You will be redirected to the Melbourne Airport Wireless Hotspot Home Page where you have the option of checking out our free access sites, or Pay As You Go access to surf the net as you please.

Wireless Hotspot access is available in most public areas and gate lounges inside Terminals 2, 3 and 4 at this stage.

Melbourne Airport's Wireless Hotspot facility does not use any form of WEP, WPA or other encryption, so you don't need to turn this on. Similarly, you should set your IP address settings to automatic as the Wireless Hotspot system will automatically set this up for you.

The Wireless Hotspot Home Page gives you the option of accessing our free sites list where you can get information and access service from many of our partners. You can check flight information, get special offers from our partners, and more.

You can also use your Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Diners Club card to purchase timed blocks of full access to the Internet by clicking on the "Get Online" button. Just choose how long you want access for and the credit card you are using for payment and follow the instructions.
